HELPING
YOU DITCH TRADITION& DO IT
YOUR WAY

YOU'RE ABOUT TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN

Here's the tea:

This day is about you and only you.

I always tell my clients "if they're not getting into bed with you at the end of the day, they don't get an opinion."

If you're trying to escape the pressure of tradition that society and/or your family is expecting of you, you've come to the right place. I'm here to advocate for you doing whatever would make YOU and your partner happiest.

PROCESS

My goal is to make this process as stress free as possible.  I will do my absolute best to make sure that we keep the stressors away not only on your big day, but during the planning process, too. Your portraits will feel like we are just besties hanging out, creating art together. Ahhhh.

Chat

Plan

Whether that's a phone chat, a zoom date, or just emailing back and forth (for the introverts in the house), we'll get to know each other and discuss what you're looking for / how I can best capture your day.

Once you complete the contract and make your retainer payment, it's official! Time to get excited!

As we keep in touch along the way, I'll be there to help put together a timeline, suggest vendors, look at portrait ideas, and compile the best shot list if family and friends are joining us!

At the beginning of your big day, we'll hug like long lost friends, and then I'll document your wedding or elopement and all the in between moments like I'm a part of the family.

Party

investment

Photography is a huge investment, I absolutely get that. What's wild though, is that after everything else from your wedding day is over, the moments we've captured are what you have to take with you. These moments aren't forever, but photos are.

You can customize your photography package, but here's what you get when you hire me for your wedding or elopement no matter what:

  • Timeline assistance for the day-of
  • Documentary-style photos that give you a replay of what actually happened during your wedding day
  • Hi-res  digital image gallery
  • Editorial portraits you didn’t know you could accomplish
  • Someone to speak up on your behalf  if things get weird or boundaries are crossed

"Laramie is absolutely amazing! She graciously took us on as clients last minute after our original photographer canceled. From the very start she was our ally and so helpful during the process. We loved being able to spend the day with her and will treasure the photos forever. Cannot over-recommend!!!!"

"Laramie couldn't have made the process easier! She kept to her timeline and organized our very large wedding party without a hitch. We loved how the photos felt organic, too. She really made sure we felt comfortable and the photos represented us as a couple. Best of all, we had so much fun! My husband hates taking pictures, and five minutes into the process he said, "Wow, this is the best experience."

" Laramie is such a beautiful and kind spirit who captures the most gorgeous images. I couldn’t be more grateful that we snagged her for our wedding. She and her husband, who tag-teamed the photo and video, were so lovely to work with and helped make our day be about us. They kept us on schedule, gave us breaks, and made us laugh, all while creating magic with their cameras. Truly an amazing experience!"

"Laramie was the perfect photographer—and she even went above and beyond photography! She was so kind and generous to us from our first communication, and the photos she took were stunning. When our florist fell through, she even jumped in and did our flowers too! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without Laramie. We're so happy to have found her, and we can't recommend her enough!"

Love notes

PLANNING MY OWN WEDDING GAVE ME PANIC ATTACKS.

That's when I was encouraged by some sweet friends to do something different — something that felt like us rather than what we thought we were supposed to do.

So, we chose to have less than 20 people at our wedding, got married by a waterfall outside Nashville, then went and had sushi with our people. That was our wedding day, and neither of us have any regrets.

That's why I strive to be your safe place in all this chaos, your advocate for doing your day however the hell you want to.

Give me as MUCH detail as possible! Your hopes and dreams for this session, international adventure, or sprint to the courthouse. Tell me what you need and why you think we are perfect for each other!

PLEASE NOTE: I do not photograph at venues with a history of slavery or servitude, or venues whose styles celebrate the aforementioned events.
