• The first look can take away from the element of surprise during the ceremony. But if I am being completely honest, that’s not always the case, and Nicole and Andrew are proof of that. I have seen couples get overwhelmed and surprised while they are exchanging their vows, even after they have had a first look. It literally depends on your story, personality, and emotional flair.
• Your guests won’t be able to see your reaction when you first see each other – that’s what photos are for though!

First Look ideas

1. Choose a location that is meaningful to both of you.
2. Find a spot with good lighting that will make for beautiful photos.
3. Create an intimate moment by saying something you’ve been wanting to say to each other or even exchanging letters beforehand.
4. Pick a backdrop that will make your photos visually stunning.
